Fleeing Suspect Caught 

December 10, 2023 – San Bernardino Police Department officials report that officers conducted proactive patrol in the area of California and 16^th Streets in a crime prevention effort. While patrolling, officers observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed.

A traffic stop was initiated, but the driver had other ideas. A short vehicle pursuit ensued, which ended when the driver yielded, and a high-risk traffic stop was performed. Through further investigation, a firearm was recovered inside the vehicle.

The suspect was arrested on felony charges.
