December 25, 2023 - Los Angeles Police Department officials report that the LAPD Newton Division W2 patrol is here to serve the incredible people of Los Angeles. Their commitment to keeping the streets safe never wavers. W2 patrol officers, during the course of their duties, were able to make an arrest and recover illegally possessed weapons and narcotics.

They want to ensure that safety is their top priority.

As we come to a close to 2023, it should be brought to everyone’s attention the comparison of firearms recovered from 2022.

The percentage increase in confiscated firearms from 2022 (483) to 2023 (757) is approximately 56.4%
