December 26, 2023 - Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office officials report Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult.

 Deputies from Century Sheriff’s Station responded to the 1600 block of East Florence Avenue in the unincorporated area of Los Angeles regarding a gunshot victim call.

 The incident occurred on Monday, December 25, 2023, at approximately 9:19PM.

 When deputies arrived on scene, they found the victim, a Hispanic male, 55 -60 years of age, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper torso.  The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing, and currently there is no additional information.

The male adult victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
