Felony Evading
January 15, 2024 - San Bernardino Police Department officials report that officers attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Mt. Vernon Avenue and 10th Street when the driver failed to yield and led officers on a pursuit. During the pursuit, he was driving with complete disregard for the community.
Eventually, he lost control of the vehicle and struck a chain-linked fence and a tree. The driver and passenger fled from the car on foot. Officers established a perimeter and conducted a yard-to-yard search where both were located hiding in a garage. They were taken into custody without incident. The driver was arrested for a new felony charge.
