January 18, 2024 - Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials report that the West Hollywood Station investigators are seeking the public’s LASD Burglary 300assistance in seeking similar incidents involving suspect Hardy Arriaza.

On Friday, January 12th, 2024, at approximately 12:01 a.m., an Attempted Residential Burglary and Attempted Residential Robbery occurred in the 9000 block of Rangely Avenue, in the city of West Hollywood. The suspect followed the victim as she was entering her apartment and the victim feared he was attempting to enter her apartment. A struggle ensued and the victim was able to break free and enter a neighbor’s apartment.

On Friday, January 12th, 2024, at approximately 1:55 a.m., a Residential Burglary and Residential Robbery occurred in the 9000 block of Rangely Avenue, in the city of West Hollywood. The same suspect removed a kitchen window at a nearby residence. The victim heard the suspect and screamed as he entered her residence. The suspect continued to enter the residence and threatened the victim. The victim was able to flee her apartment.

West Hollywood Station Deputies located the suspect inside the victim’s residence and subsequently arrested suspect Hardy Arriaza.
