January 22, 2024 - Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials report that the Compton Station Deputies responded to a robbery alarm at “7-11”, on the 1500 block of South Long Beach Boulevard in Compton.

The incident occurred on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at approximately 10:49 p.m.

Upon arrival, Deputies learned of an armed robbery at the location where the suspects took various denominations of US currency.

Inside the currency was a tracking device that alerted deputies to the location of the suspects. Compton Station Deputies located the vehicle and conducted a felony traffic stop. All four suspects were arrested without incident.

Inside the car, deputies recovered the US currency taken from the “7-11”, additional US currency, and two replica semi-automatic (BB-Guns).

During the initial investigation, Compton Station Detectives learned the suspects may be linked to other robberies in Los Angeles, Lakewood, Glendale, and Irvine between January 14 and January 19, 2024.

All suspects were transported to the Century Regional Detention Facility pending court proceedings.

The investigation is ongoing to determine if these suspects are related to other robberies that have recently occurred in Los Angeles or surrounding jurisdictions.

Residents should call 911 if a life-threatening emergency is detected and/or their local police business line if a suspicious person or vehicle is observed.

Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Compton Station at (310) 605-6500.
