January 25, 2024 - Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials report that the Major Crimes Bureau – Metro Detail detectives are requesting the public’s help in identifying a male suspect who is believed to be responsible for a series of bank robberies and attempted bank robberies throughout Los Angeles County.

The incidents occurred at various banks throughout Los Angeles County between October 2023 and January 2024. The latest robbery occurred on Monday, January 22, 2024, at Bank of America in unincorporated Harbor City.

In each of the robberies, the lone suspect approaches a bank teller and demands money, while simulating a weapon concealed under his sweatshirt.

The suspect is described as a male, Black, adult, 5’08”-5’10” tall, 240-260 lbs., and 40-45 years of age. The suspect was seen fleeing in a 2006-2007, silver colored, 4-door Honda Accord with tinted windows and stolen license plates.
