January 28, 2024 - San Bernardino Police Department officials report that last Monday, officers responded to a stabbing in the area of 16th Street and Hancock Avenue. Quick-responding officers located a victim who was bleeding from a stab wound to the head and immediately requested paramedics.
Upon conducting interviews, they gained a suspect description, which was broadcasted to officers who were canvassing the area. They located the suspect, and as they drove closer towards him, he threw the knife at the police car. Tactically, they gave him commands and took him into custody on felony charges.
The knife was collected as evidence. The victim was not seriously injured.
