Armed & Dangerous - DO NOT APPROACH 

Suspect: Clint Edward Griffith, 51-year-old Male Resident of Apple Valley, California 

February 2, 2024 - San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials report that on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at about 12:17 a.m., deputies from the Apple Valley Station responded to a residence in the 20600 block of Waalew Road for the report of shots heard.

When deputies arrived, they located Sommer Kelly, who suffered from multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Kelly’s daughter was found at the location with multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to the hospital, where she remains in stable condition.

Through investigation, deputies identified the suspect as Clint Edward Griffith. If seen, avoid contact, and call 9-1-1. Griffith is believed to be armed and dangerous.
