Murder Suspect Arrested 

February 4, 2024 - Alturas, CA - Modoc County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Monday, January 29, 2024, Modoc Modoc murder susCounty Sheriff's deputies arrested Tyler Scott Graeber, 36, in Columbia, Missouri, with assistance from the Columbia Police Department.

Graeber is suspected of killing Stacey Ann Edmond, 32, on February 7, 2021. Graeber and Edmond were in a relationship, living together, at a residence in Modoc County at the time.

After a three year long investigation, with assistance from a private investigator and support from the Modoc County District Attorney's Office, deputies tracked Graeber to Columbia Missouri where he was arrested on Monday. Graeber was escorted back to Alturas on Thursday and booked into the Modoc County Jail for murder. He is currently being held without bail.
