Extensive Investigation Leads to the Identification of the Suspect Responsible for 2021 Murder of a Victorville Man 

March 5, 2024 - San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials report that on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, San Bernardino County Sheriff logodeputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to the report of a deceased male inside a residence in the 15600 block of Jay Post Road.  Upon arrival, deputies found the victim deceased from a knife wound. 

Detectives from the Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail, responded to the location to conduct the investigation. Through an extensive ongoing investigation, the suspect has been identified as Brandon Hunsaker.

As a result of this investigation, the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office has filed a case on Hunsaker for the murder of Brewer and a no bail arrest warrant has been issued. Hunsaker is currently in custody in Los Angeles County on an unrelated charge. Hunsaker will be transferred to the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department in the coming weeks for this warrant.
