Gun Safety Event in Lemon Grove 

March 5, 2024 - San Diego County Sheriff's Department officials report that they are partnering with the San Diego County District Attorney's Office, La Mesa Police Department, San Diego County Probation Department and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Division of Adult Parole Operations (DAPO) to get unwanted guns off our streets.

Join us for a Gun Safety Event:

First Baptist Church of Lemon Grove
2910 Main Street, Lemon Grove
Saturday, March 9, 2024
8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Turn in your unwanted gun and receive a gift card ($100 for handguns, rifles, and shotguns and $200 for assault weapons and ghost guns).  Remain anonymous.  No questions asked.

Firearms must be in working order.

Place the unloaded firearm in the trunk of your vehicle.

A deputy or officer will provide instructions.

All weapons collected will be destroyed.

We are also providing FREE gun cable locks and security boxes (while supplies last) to people looking to secure firearms kept in their homes.
