Update 11:27 A.M. Monday: Diem Nguyen has been located. Thank you for everyone’s assistance with our search.

June 24, 2024 – San Diego Police Department officials report that they need your help finding Diem Le Nguyen. Diem was hiking on “Nighthawk Trail” on Black Mountain at 9711 Oviedo Way.

At about 8:00 a.m. on Sunday Diem continued ahead of her hiking group alone to finish the trail after they stopped halfway up. At 9:30 a.m. she contacted them and shared she was at the end of the trail.

She has not made contact or been seen since. Due to the weather and difficulty of the trail, she is missing at risk.

Diem was last seen wearing a black shirt with a pink heart on the front, black pants, brown hat, and sunglasses.

Diem is a 50-year-old Asian female, approximately 5 foot 1 inches tall, 105 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes.
