Bank Robbery
July 14, 2024 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 12:21 p.m., deputies assigned to the Palm Desert Sheriff's Station were dispatched to a bank robbery in the 73000 block of Highway 111, Palm Desert. Upon arrival, deputies were advised that the suspect had fled the location.
During the investigation, deputies learned the suspect entered the bank, approached a bank teller at the counter, and made a demand for money. The suspect did not produce a weapon or indicate he was armed. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect ran from the bank in an unknown direction. The suspect was described as a White male adult, between 50 and 60 years old, 5'10" to 6'0" tall, 150 to 175 pounds, wearing a light-colored baseball-style hat, dark-colored t-shirt, and dark jeans. After an extensive search, deputies were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect appears to be the same individual responsible for the bank robbery that occurred on June 26, 2024, in the 72000 block of Highway 111, Palm Desert. This is an ongoing investigation, and no additional information is available at this time.
The Riverside County Sheriff's Office requests the public's assistance in identifying and locating the suspect. Anyone with information on his immediate whereabouts should call 911 or contact Investigator Villasenor at the Palm Desert Sheriff's Station at 760–836–1600.
