Stolen Birthday Gift Returned and Suspect in Custody
July 14, 2024 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Thursday, July 11, 2024, deputies assigned to the Lake
Elsinore Sheriff's Station Robbery/Burglary Suppression Team (RBST) responded to a social media post of a child's stolen electric motorcycle from the 32000 block of Meadow Wood Lane in the city of Lake Elsinore. Deputies learned the electric bike was a birthday present the parents had just purchased. Deputies identified the suspect as Cindy Cline, a 25-year-old resident of Lake Elsinore. On Friday, July 12, deputies assigned to the RBST and the Special Enforcement Team served a search warrant in the 100 block of Plaza Valenza, Lake Elsinore. Cline was located at the residence and taken into custody. The stolen motorcycle was also located at the residence. Cline was transported and booked into Cois Byrd Detention Center for theft and additional outstanding warrants. Deputies later returned the stolen motorcycle to the family.
