Organized Retail Theft Suspects Arrested 

July 27, 2024 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Monday, July 15, 2024, at 10:31 a.m., the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station deputies riverside county sheriff logoresponded to a grand theft in the 18400 block of Collier Avenue, Lake Elsinore. Three suspects had entered a retail store and stole over $7,000 in beauty products. All three suspects left the location, entered a black sedan, and fled the scene. Investigators and deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station Robbery/Burglary Suppression Team assumed the investigation. The suspects were identified as 48-year-old Ursula Ventura, 25-year-old Jerremy Lewis, and 37-year-old Robert Thompson, all residents of Chino.

On Thursday, July 25, 2024, a search warrant was served in the 16300 block of E. Preserve Loop, Chino. Thompson, Lewis, and several items of evidence related to the crime were located at the residence. Ventura was located a few hours later in the 5400 block of Daniels Street, Chino. All three subjects were transported and booked into Cois Byrd Detention Center for organized retail theft, grand theft, conspiracy, and possession of stolen property.
