August 13, 2024 – Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles Police Department officials report that the family of 17-year-old Sara LAPD missing CastilloNicole Castillo and the Los Angeles Police Department are requesting the public’s assistance in locating her after she was reported missing.

Castillo was last seen on the evening of August 9, 2024, near the 5400 Block of Zelzah Avenue. She was reported missing by her family around 2:00 a.m. on August 10, 2024, after it was discovered that she was no longer in her residence. Shortly after that, she sent a text message to her father stating that she had stepped out of the residence to get some air, but that she was lost and couldn’t find her way home.

Castillo is a 17-year-old Hispanic female. She has black hair and brown eyes, weighs 113 pounds and is 5’07”. She was last seen wearing a gray shirt with floral patterns, gray shorts, and pink flip flop sandals. She is diagnosed with severe autism. She is new to Los Angeles and is not familiar with the surrounding area.
