Homicide Investigation - Update 

August 22, 2024 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that during the course of this investigation, investigators from the Riverside Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit identified a suspect in this homicide. Juan Cristoval Ambriz, a 26-year-old resident of Perris who is currently in-custody on an unrelated case, was charged with murder, aggravated kidnapping, felon in possession of a firearm, and numerous enhancements associated with the murder. 

This is an active and ongoing investigation, and no additional details are currently available.
