Ojai Request for Public Assistance 

August 24, 2024 – Ventura County Sheriff's Office officials report that on August 22, 2024 (8/22/2024), at Ventura County Sheriff logoapproximately 8:43 P.M., a male adult was walking southbound in the 300 Block of Lion Street when he was struck by a vehicle. The vehicle struck the male adult which caused him to be pushed into a parked vehicle on Lion Street.

The vehicle then fled the scene of the accident. The male adult sustained moderate injuries from the collision and was transported to the hospital by paramedics. The vehicle that fled the scene was described as a gray Toyota Prius and may have damage to the passenger side of the vehicle.
