September 5, 2024 -  Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officials report Sheriff's Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a male adult in East Los Angeles.  The incident occurred on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at approximately 9:29 p.m.

East Los Angeles Sheriff's Station deputies responded to the 1300 block of South Fetterly Avenue in the city of East Los Angeles regarding a report of a gunshot victim at the location.  Upon arrival, deputies located a male in the street suffering from a gunshot wound.  Deputies immediately rendered aid to the male.  Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced the male deceased.
 
The investigation is ongoing, and currently, there’s no additional information available at this time.
