Assault With a Deadly Weapon
September 15, 2024 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on September 13, 2024, at 9:42 p.m.,
deputies assigned to the Palm Desert Sheriff’s Station responded to the 74000 block of Hovely Lane East, Palm Desert, regarding three male juveniles suffering from stab wounds. During the investigation, deputies identified the juveniles who were stabbed with a knife, at a nearby location. The investigation led deputies to the 73000 block of Magnesia Falls Drive, Palm Desert, where additional evidence was located. All three juveniles were sent to local hospitals and were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The juvenile suspects in the case fled the scene prior to the deputies’ arrival. Several other juveniles and witnesses were identified and interviewed at both locations. Investigators from the Palm Desert Sheriff’s Station responded and assumed the investigation.
