Officers from the Glendora Police Department responded to the 700 block of Danecroft Avenue in Glendora regarding a structure fire call.
The incident occurred on Monday, September 16, 2024, at approximately 2:28 a.m.
Investigators learned that a male and female adult live at the location. The couple was having marital issues and the female had recently filed for divorce. When police and fire personnel arrived on scene, they observed the structure fully engulfed in smoke and fire. Fire personnel made entry, extinguished the fire, and located an unresponsive male in a bedroom. L.A. Co. Fire paramedics responded and pronounced him dead on scene. The female is currently unaccounted for and missing. The structure sustained significant fire damage. A methodical search of the residence is currently being conducted.
