Homicide Investigation 

September 27, 2024 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 8:08 a.m., deputies from the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to the Santa Ana River bottom in the area of Clay Street and General Road in the city of Jurupa Valley. Upon arrival, deputies located a deceased male with significant injuries. Deputies secured the scene, and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation. The decedent was later identified as Jose Guadalupe Diaz, a 27-year-old resident of Riverside.

There have been no arrests at this time, as investigators are still working to identify the suspect (s) involved. This is an active investigation, and no additional details are available at this time.
