October 13, 2024 - Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officials report Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators continued their investigation in the circumstances surrounding the death of a white male adult on Mount Baldy Road, near Stoddard Canyon Falls, in the San Gabriel Mountains.

The White male adult, detained at the solo traffic collision a few miles away, was identified as the 19-year-old son of the victim.

Based on evidence at the scene, coupled with statements made by the son and witnesses, the son was arrested and booked for murder at the San Dimas Station.  

The case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for filing considerations.
