Fatal Hit-and-Run Traffic Collision Leaves Woman Dead

October 17, 2024 – Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles Police Department officials report that Investigators from the Department’s Central Traffic Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect responsible for a hit-and-run traffic collision that killed a 53-year-old woman.

On January 6, 2024, around 9:20 p.m., the victim was driving a white Toyota Corolla on westbound 60th Street when it was hit by a white BMW 528i traveling northbound Broadway Street at a high rate of speed. The impact between the two vehicles caused the white BMW to collide into four parked vehicles. The driver of the white BMW abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene on foot without stopping to render aid and identify himself.

The Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and transported the female driver of the Toyota Corolla to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased by medical staff.
