October 23, 2024 – Wilmington, CA – Los Angeles Police Department officials report that Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Area are seeking additional information regarding the felony sexual battery and attempted kidnapping of an 11-year-old girl.

On October 21, 2024, around 3:15 p.m., the victim was walking near M Street and Gulf Avenue in Wilmington when the suspect approached her from behind, fondled her breasts, and attempted to remove her from the area. Nearby residents intervened, prompting the suspect to flee in his vehicle.

The suspect is described as a White or Hispanic male, 20 to 30 years old, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighs about 240 pounds. He was driving a gray Nissan Kicks with a spare wheel mounted on the rear passenger side.
