Lewd Acts Against a Minor Arrest
October 26, 2024 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that in September 2024, the Lake Mathews Sheriff’s Station began investigating allegations of child molestation reported to the Department of Public Social Services, Child Services Division. Investigators learned three female juveniles were victims of molestation over the past three years. The three female juveniles stated while attending a sleepover at a friend’s residence, they had been photographed and sexually assaulted. The suspects were identified as 45-year-old Christopher Gary Tilden and 43-year-old Katrina Frances Tilden, both residents of Riverside. The investigation revealed Christopher Tilden was the primary suspect in the incidents, and Katrina failed to notify law enforcement after learning about the incidents.
On Thursday, October 24, 2024, at about 8:00 a.m., Lake Mathews Sheriff’s Station investigators, with the assistance of the District Attorney’s Office Riverside County Child Exploitation Team, served a search warrant at the Tilden’s residence in the 12000 block of Orangemont Lane, in the unincorporated area of Riverside, known as Lake Hills, and Christopher Tilden’s place of employment. Investigators recovered numerous electronics that will be processed as evidence of the investigation.
Christopher Tilden was arrested for multiple charges of lewd acts with a minor, sexual abuse of a minor, dissuading a witness, and child endangerment. Katrina Tilden was arrested for child endangerment, accessory, and dissuading a witness. The Tilden’s were booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center, where Christopher Tilden is being held on a $2 million bail. This is an ongoing investigation, and no additional details are available.
