Detectives Investigating Wednesday Night Shooting in Victorville that Left One Man Deceased
November 1, 2024 – San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials report that on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at approximately 8:11 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to a shooting call on La Paz Drive. Upon arrival, deputies located a Hispanic male adult lying in a parking lot, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite life saving measures performed at the scene, the victim, later identified as Binju Quintana, was pronounced deceased.
Detectives with the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail, responded and assumed the investigation. During the investigation, detectives learned a black male adult approached the victim at the scene and shot him. The suspect fled the scene prior to deputies arriving. The investigation is continuing, and further information will be released when available.
