November 8, 2024 – San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials report that on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at about 11:42 a.m., deputies from Victor Valley responded to a residence in the 34400 block of Wilshire Road, in Lucerne Valley, for suspicious circumstances.  The reporting party was at the location and believed he saw a deceased person inside the home.  Responding deputies arrived and located a male subject, later identified as Anthony Zamora, deceased.   

The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail also responded and assumed the investigation.  An autopsy will be conducted to determine the manner and cause of death, and the investigation is ongoing.
