Homicide Investigation 

November 8, 2024 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on November 6, 2024, at 11:35 a.m., deputies assigned to the Hemet Sheriff's Station were dispatched to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 43200 block of Castile Canyon Road, Soboba. Deputies arrived on the scene and located an adult male suffering from traumatic injuries inside a residence. This male was pronounced deceased on the scene. Deputies contacted an additional adult male at the location, also suffering injuries. The male was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The scene was secured, and the Riverside Sheriff's Central Homicide Unit was requested to assume the investigation.

The victim's identity will be withheld pending notification of next-of-kin. No further information will be released at this time. Investigators are working to identify the suspect (s) involved in this incident. The investigation is ongoing, and no further information will be released at this time.
