the Fontana Sheriff’s Station responded to a residence on Ninth Street in Bloomington for the report of a shooting. When deputies arrived, they located the victim, Pedro Chavez, deceased inside the home. The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division –Homicide Detail responded and assumed the investigation. Through investigation, detectives determined David Chavez, the victim’s brother, was responsible for the murder. David Chavez was arrested and booked in at the West Valley Detention Center where he remains without bail.
