Cemetery Thefts in Bonita 

November 10, 2024 – San Diego County Sheriff’s Office officials report that the Imperial Beach Sheriff's Substation is investigating the theft of metal flower vases from a cemetery in Bonita.

Since mid-October, several vase thefts have been reported at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary located in the 3800 block of Bonita Road.

Sheriff's Detectives, with the cooperation of Glen Abbey staff, are investigating the thefts. Each metal flower vase is worth about $1,000.

At this time, a suspect has not been identified.
