Child Predator Taken Into Custody
November 20, 2024 – San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials report that on November 18, 2024, deputies from
the Perris Sheriff’s Station Special Enforcement Team began an online undercover operation, posing as a 13-year-old female. During the investigation, communication was established with 43-year-old Jason Sjullie from Arizona. During two days of communication with Sjullie, he ultimately expressed his intent to meet with the underaged female to engage in sexual acts.
On November 19, 2024, deputies arranged to meet Sjullie and took him into custody without incident. He was booked into Cois Byrd Detention Center for arranging to meet a minor with the intent of sexual acts, contacting a minor with the intent to commit sexual acts, and attempting lewd acts with a minor. Sjullie is being held on a $1,000,000 bail.
