Marijuana Delivery Operation
November 23, 2024 – Ventura County Sheriff's Office officials report that on November 20, 2024, the Thousand Oaks Police Department’s Directed Enforcement Unit conducted a marijuana delivery operation targeting state-licensed delivery services operating within the city of Thousand Oaks without the required permit. During the operation, deputies cited three delivery drivers and their associated dispensaries for violating Thousand Oaks Municipal Code 5-29.06 by delivering marijuana products without a permit.
The following businesses were cited:
The Vault, 22815 Ventura Blvd., Woodland Hills
Atrium, 5441 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills
Elevate, 20010 Ventura Blvd., Woodland Hills
The operation involved a deputy in a marked black and white patrol vehicle contacting the marijuana delivery service driver in the city of Thousand Oaks. Once contact was made, and confirmation was acquired that the driver did not have a valid city of Thousand Oaks permit, a citation was issued for not having a valid city permit.
