December 11, 2024 – Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officials report that Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lancaster Station are asking for the public’s help locating a critical missing juvenile Mekhi Owens. He is a 17-year-old Black male who was last seen on the Tuesday December 10, 2024, at 4:00 p.m., on the 500 block of East Avenue J-10 in the city of Lancaster.

Mekhi is 5-foot-8 and 170 lbs. with black hair, brown eyes, a tattoo of the name "Kadija" on his left arm, and Chinese letters on his neck.  He was last seen wearing a pink sweater, black pants and a backpack with the "Godfather" logo.

Mr. Owen's is diagnosed with bipolar disorder and his family is concerned for his well-being.
