Shooting Leaves One Man Dead
December 27, 2024 – Panorama City, CA – Los Angeles Police Department officials report that Homicide detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects responsible for a shooting that killed a man.
On December 25, 2024, around 8:50 p.m., Mission Area officers responded to a radio call of an Ambulance Shooting at the intersection of Cedros Avenue and Parthenia Street. When officers arrived, they met with multiple citizens who had discovered the victim lying on the sidewalk on the 8700 block of Cedros Avenue.
Preliminary investigation revealed the victim resided close to the crime scene. The victim stepped outside and possibly met with unknown suspects. An argument ensued, ending in gunfire.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the victim deceased at scene. The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification to next of kin
