December 28, 2024 – Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officials report that Detectives from the Sheriff’s Department Lancaster Station are asking for the public’s help locating Critical Missing Child, Emerald "Emi" Noele Clairborne. Emerald is a 3-year-old Black female. She was last seen with her mother, Brianna Leuvnia Haywood, on December 27, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. on the 2300 block of Rosewood Avenue in the city of Lancaster. 

Emerald is 3 feet and 3 inches, 42 lbs. with short black curly hair, brown eyes, and a birthmark on her right torso. She was last seen wearing a pink "Minnie Mouse" jacket, blue shirt, black pants and pink light-up shoes. Emerald is mute and has medical issues.

Haywood is a 24-year-old Black female who is 5 foot 5 inches, 109 lbs. with black hair, brown eyes and an unknown clothing description. Haywood was last seen driving away in a 2005 white Chevrolet Trailblazer with an unknown license plate number. 

There is concern for the well-being of the child.
