Line of Duty Death of Deputy Timothy Corlew 

January 9, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that the Department is saddened to announce the death of Deputy Timothy Corlew, who was assigned to the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station. Deputy Corlew was involved in an on-duty traffic collision on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

Deputy Corlew began his service with our Department on February 1, 2016. After graduating from the 198^th Basic Academy, he was assigned to Sheriff’s Court Services before transferring to the Jurupa Valley Station on August 29, 2019. Deputy Corlew completed Motor School in June 2022 and was working Motor Enforcement at the time of his death.

On behalf of the entire Department, we extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Deputy Timothy Corlew. 

Please continue to pray for Deputy Corlew’s wife, two sons, and the men and women of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office as we grieve this loss.
