Serious Injury Collision in Imperial Beach 

January 10, 2025 – San Diego County Sheriff’s Office officials report that the Imperial Beach Sheriff's Substation is san diego county sheriff department logoinvestigating a serious injury collision. 

On Thursday, January 9 just after 8:00 a.m., deputies responded to a crash between a motorcycle and car in the 1300 block of Palm Avenue in Imperial Beach.

When they arrived on scene, deputies found an unconscious motorcyclist lying face down on the ground. Deputies immediately began life-saving measures on the victim until paramedics arrived. He was breathing when he was transported to the hospital for his injuries.

The driver of the car involved in the collision remained at the scene and is cooperating with deputies. The Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction (STAR) Team was called to the scene. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
