First Find Alert! 

January 15, 2025 – Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office officials give a huge shoutout to Deputy Gascon and K-9 Kai for their incredible teamwork! During training at the Elmwood Correctional Campus last week, K-9 Kai showed off some serious skills by alerting them to a suspicious package. It was found wrapped in black electrical tape, packed with contraband: a lighter, cigarettes, and bindles of controlled substances.

This is a major milestone win for K-9 Kai and a testament to Deputy Gascon's dedication! With the guidance of Deputy Tran, they’ve created real-world learning experiences for our canines.
