Man with Machete 

January 16, 2025 – San Bernardino Police Department officials report that recently, officers responded to reports of a man wielding a machete. Responding officers were directed to a nearby convenience store where he had barricaded himself inside the restroom. The suspect was uncooperative with responding officers and could be heard destroying the restroom.

Eventually, he then exited in a threatening manner, still with the machete in hand. Officers deployed a less lethal bean bag round to overcome his active resistance. 

Eventually, he surrendered without further incident and was subsequently arrested on felony charges.
