Silver Alert Issued for a Critical Missing 82-Year-Old Man 

February 2, 2025 – San Fernando, CA – Los Angeles Police Department officials report that the family and friends of Jose LAPD missing Hernandez2Hernandez and the Los Angeles Police Department’s Mission Area are asking for the public’s help in locating him.

On January 30, 2025, around 11:30 a.m., Mr. Hernandez was last seen walking from his place of residence in the area of Omelveny Avenue and San Jose Street. He hasn’t been seen or heard from since, and his family is concerned for his safety. Mr. Hernandez suffers from dementia and requires monitoring.

Mr. Hernandez is described as a male Hispanic with grey hair and brown eyes. He stands five feet six inches tall and weighs approximately 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black beanie, blue/ white checkered shirt, black pants, and black shoes.
