February 9, 2025 – San Bernardino Police Department officials report that patrol officers were dispatched to conduct an area check for a stolen vehicle near 2nd and 'I' Streets. Officers observed a matching vehicle in the area and attempted contact with the occupants. The driver tried to walk away but was swiftly detained. 

Through further investigation, it was confirmed to have been stolen. Both occupants were arrested, one was a convicted felon, and the vehicle was recovered.
