Residential Burglary Crew Arrested
February 12, 2025 – Ventura County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on February 7th, 2025, Ventura County
Sheriff’s Dispatch received a call for service of a residential burglary that just occurred in the 2700 block of Queens Way in Thousand Oaks. Thousand Oaks Patrol Deputies immediately responded to the area of the burglary and apprehended four suspects as they were attempting to flee the scene.
Detectives with the East County Investigations Bureau responded to assist with the investigation. Detectives determined the suspects were part of a South American Theft Group Burglary Crew. The suspects were identified as Aaron Diaz Mora, Javier Vidal Navarrete, Miguel Angel Munoz Ordonez, and Sebastian Tonelly Chavarriga. Detectives obtained evidence linking the suspects to an additional residential burglary that occurred in Thousand Oaks during the evening of February 7th, 2025. The investigation into this residential burglary is ongoing.
All four suspects were booked into the Ventura County Jail for PC 459 – Residential burglary, PC 182(a)(1) – Conspiracy to commit a crime, and PC 472 – Possession of a counterfeit government seal. Javier Vidal Navarrete was also determined to have outstanding felony warrants issued out of Riverside County and San Bernardino County for PC 459 – Burglary. All four suspects remain in custody with their bail set at $250,000 and their arraignment scheduled for 2/11/2025 at 1:30 p.m. at the Ventura County Superior Court.
The arrest of these suspects was made possible by the citizens of Thousand Oaks and their quick decision to call the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office to report these crimes. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office reminds the citizens of Thousand Oaks that our city is an extremely safe community. However, this sense of safety is occasionally exploited by the criminal element.
