February 14, 2025 – Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department officials report that on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 6:47 P.M., Menghan Zhuang, a 23-year-old, was murdered at The Vistas condominium complex located at 21334 Nandina Lane in the city of Newhall. The victim was a student at California Institute of the Arts.

The Homicide Bureau is seeking the public’s help in identifying a person of interest described as a male seen entering the victim’s apartment the night before and then seen exiting from her second story bedroom window on the afternoon of the day she was discovered deceased.
