Juvenile Motorcyclist Arrested 

March 14, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that on January 20, 2025, around 3:00 p.m., deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, Southwest Station, responded to the reports of juveniles illegally riding motorcycles and e-bikes in the roadway. When deputies arrived, they encountered about 20 juveniles riding e-bikes and motorcycles in an unsafe manner and blocking other traffic by riding in a large group across the width of the roadway.

A deputy attempted to stop a rider on an unregistered motorcycle, but the motorcyclist refused to stop. The fleeing motorcyclists rode at a high rate of speed and ran stop signs, endangering himself and the public. Deputies abandoned the pursuit for safety.

The fleeing motorcyclist, a male juvenile, was identified during an investigation following the incident. The suspect was booked into juvenile hall for felony evading, and his motorcycle was seized.
