$25,000 Reward is Being Offered
March 15, 2025 – Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officials report that LASD Homicide Lieutenant Vizcarra, along with the Homicide Bureau, is seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspects responsible for the murder of Corey Pickett. A $25,000 reward is being offered by the Board of Supervisors for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for his murder.
On Friday, July 12, 2019, at approximately 11:30 P.M., 42-year-old Corey Pickett, a friend, and a family member were standing outside a residence on the 1000 block of West 94th Street in the Westmont area of unincorporated Los Angeles County.
While they were admiring the family member’s new vehicle, two males armed with firearms, exited the passenger side of the sedan and began firing numerous rounds at them. The males re-entered the sedan and drove east on 94th street toward Vermont Avenue and out of view.
