March 18, 2025 - Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office officials report Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding a death investigation in the City of Compton.

On March 17^th, at approximately 11:40 PM, deputies from Compton Station responded to an assault and medical response call in the 1000 block of W. Spruce Street.  Upon arrival, deputies located an unresponsive male adult at the location. 

Compton Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced the victim deceased. 

This investigation is ongoing, and there is no additional information available at this time.
