Suspects Arrested for Attempted Murder
March 28, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that in December of 2024, Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station patrol deputies responded to a call for service regarding an assault with a deadly weapon. Deputies located the victim with a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim stated he was walking home from a local convenience store when he heard a gunshot and realized he was struck by gunfire. The Lake Elsinore Station’s Special Enforcement Team, with the assistance of Region 4 Gang Task Force, assumed the investigation. During the investigation it was learned a local street gang conspired and ultimately committed the assault.
During February of 2025, numerous search warrants were served resulting in the arrests of all four suspects involved in the incident.
A 17-year-old male resident of Lake Elsinore (not pictured) was arrested and booked on attempted murder.
Robert Flores, an 18-year-old resident of Lake Elsinore, was arrested and booked for conspiracy and attempted murder.
Jonathan Juarez, a 19-year-old resident of Lake Elsinore, was arrested and booked for conspiracy and attempted murder.
Alberto Garcia, a 20-year-old resident of Lake Elsinore, was arrested and booked for conspiracy and attempted murder.
Region 4 Gang Task Force will be seeking gang related enhancements for this incident.
The Lake Elsinore Station and the Region 4 Gang Task Force have a zero-tolerance stance on all gang related crime and it will be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
