Sexual Assault Suspect Arrested 

March 29, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 1:33 p.m., deputies RCSO Peralfrom the Perris Sheriff’s Station responded to the report of a sexual assault in the 26000 block of Homeland Avenue, located in the unincorporated area of Perris, known as Homeland. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the female victim, who advised during a visit to the resident, an unknown male sexually assaulted her. The victim fled the residence and contacted law enforcement. She was later transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.

Deputies searched the area and located the suspect, who was identified as 28-year-old Victor Peral, a resident of Homeland. Peral was located outside his residence in the 26000 block of Homeland Avenue. Peral ran from deputies but was ultimately located and taken into custody. The Perris Sheriff’s Station Investigations Bureau responded and assumed the investigation. A search warrant was later served at Peral’s residence. Peral was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for sexual assault and resisting arrest. This is an ongoing investigation, and no further information is available at this time.
